Some Chinese friends brought me to dinner here. It is near the Chiang Mai University where their daughter attends. They said it served great food and had lots of choice. A bit more expensive than some restaurants but still reasonable, and the servings were large.<\/p>\n

I loved every meal we tried. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve eaten anywhere, and the staff were brilliant. Hope to get back for a second visit before I leave Chiang Mai.<\/p>\n

“The best of Asian food”<\/strong><\/p>\n

This little restaurant is full of surprises. It is clean, simply decorated and bright. On the fairly extensive menu you will find food items that represent the best of Thai, Chinese and Singaporean food. We could not try Bak Kut Teh but we did have Sichuan style prawns, yellow curry cuttlefish and Thai sauce whole fish. All the dishes were excellent as evident from the clean plates we left behind. The owner was kind enough to let us try his cheese and chocolate cakes for dessert and let out the secret that he would soon start a bakery next door. Going by what we ate, the cakes would be best sellers, just as the restaurant has gained in fame since it’s quiet beginning more than a year ago.<\/p>\n

Our menu selection process is usually to trial several versions of a new dish for a month before deciding on the best recipe. We then added to our new menus updated every three months on a trial basis to see how our regular customers respond to the dish. If this response is favourable, we then add it to our permanent menu.<\/p>\n

One of the ideas pitched to us was a chance for you all to add a special recipe to our official menu. We thought this was a great idea and have come up with a competition for you to enter your best recipe. If your recipe is selected as the best, we will add it to our trial process and hopefully it will work through to our process onto our permanent menu.<\/p>\n
